According to the All Music Guide: "As Dirty Beaches, Alex Zhang Hungtai makes lo-fi, post-rockabilly that owes an equal debt to Roy Orbison and Suicide." Makes sense, but I'd drop Stephin Merritt's name in there as well. The album drops on March 29th.
