Song of the day: "Helpless Dancer" by The Who

AV Club has an entertaining feature called "24 songs about dancing that you can't dance to."

To that list, I'd add The Who's "Helpless Dancer," which with its jerky rhythm and flamenco flourishes is impossible to cut the rug to. Check out the actual dancing in this video and you'll see how out of place it is.



Another candidate is Liz Phair's "Dance of the Seven Veils," the most disconcerting slow dance ever.
