Australian psych outfit Tame Impala made my list for best albums of 2010. Pond, formed by two members of Tame Impala, proves the old adage about the apple not falling too far from the tree (or, if I can strain the metaphor a bit, the pond not forming too far from its source). "Elegant Design's" white funk also wouldn't seem too out of place on a mid-period Beck album.
