Jackson has long been Belle & Sebastian's "other" songwriter, contributing a tune or two per album while leaving the bulk of the work to band mate Stuart Murdoch. But today, he's front and center with his humorously titled debut solo album, (I Can't Get No) Stevie Jackson. The song is called "Try Me" and I'd encourage you to do as the man says.
