Last month, the nominees for the UK's Mercury Prize were announced. Generally, I'm a fan of the Mercury, as their choices tend to be more interesting and less mainstream than the Grammys (they don't call them the Grannies for nothing). One of this year's nominees is the psychedelic Scottish band, Django Django, and rightly so! Their debut album is out in the States today.
