Song of the day: "We the Common" by Thao & The Get Down Stay Down

I saw Falls Church, Va. native Thao Nguyen live in concert in DC a couple years back. There were obviously lots of people from her past in the local crowd. Everyone cheered like crazy as she played. At one point she asked, "Where were you guys when I needed you in high school?" I would have gladly shared my table in the lunchroom with her.
