Song of the day: "Zombies" by Radiation City

Shamblers are everywhere--even invading my pop music.

Recently, the Portland quintet explained to Nylon what this song is all about: "'It’s about zombies, wondering if a future with them wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing. They’d be sort of a food chain equalizer, and a profound tool of fertilization, besides,' explains the band’s drummer, Randy Bemrose, adding, 'There’s also metaphor, a double entendre there if you look for that sort of thing. Art and media in the modern world, commerce, hegemony….'"

Well, that's a bit heavy for a pop song, if you ask me. Luckily, the tune itself so light it floats in mid-air.
