Song of the day: "Planetary Motion" by Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks

Malkmus participated in the 2010 Pavement reunion (I still think a reunion is a decidedly non-Pavement thing to do), but this is his first album of new material with the Jicks in years, and it sounds like it was worth the wait.
