Stoltz, one of my favorite current singer-songwriters, released a new album on Tuesday. Listen to the whole thing here. Tuneful and '60s inflected, most of this stuff wouldn't sound out of place on the Kinks' "Village Green Preservation Society" lp. "I Don't Get That's" bridge quotes the Kinks' "Animal Farm" almost note for note. Not that there's anything wrong with that!
