This is my idea of what a good cover is all about: familiar yet distinct. Bowie's song is instantly recognizable, even in Portuguese. But, while the original was a proudly over-the-top production with a full orchestra, Jorge's cover is model of restraint--just an acoustic guitar and an amazing voice.
